What are affirmations? According to MindTools.com, affirmations are positive statements that can help you to challenge and overcome self-sabotaging and negative thoughts.
My fabulous friend and Founder of Prism Vibes, Arika Trimnell, wrote an excellent blog about using positive affirmations to find happiness and lists everything you need to know about positive self-talk and where the negative self-talk comes from.
Affirmations are powerful because they instill hope when you feel hopeless. I was introduced to affirmations many years back when I was going through a rough time on my journey and needed a daily reminder to calm my nerves down. That's when I turned to affirmations, and I would like to share my favorite ones here.

I want to give credit to the creators who shared their fantastic affirmations with the online world. Because of them, not only do I implement them in my daily life, but I now get the privilege to share with my audience as well.
I would recommend writing down your favorite affirmations on a paper and being fully present with the statement as you write it. Feel the sentence you are writing and observe how it makes you feel. Is your energy shifting? Is your mood feeling lighter? Are you feeling less anxious?
If yes, then they are already working. Practice affirmations daily, and I promise you will witness change happen.
